Pressing the button
Click and whirl of the shutter
The camera goes off

Ducking behind cars
Miguel follows quietly
Remaining unseen

Anticipating
Only a matter of time
Patiently waiting

His motivation
a story like no other
named Gary Hobson

In his line of sights
He follows Mr. Hobson
Through out the city

Dodge. Weave. Evade.
Not wanted to be spotted
Stealth skills in daylight

Leaning on a tree
As Gary sits a moment
To read his paper

Gary stops, glancing
Like he knew Miguel was there
Watching and waiting

The photographer
ducks behind a red parked car
to conceal himself

Miguel holds his breath
despite it being day time
on a busy street

He glances outward
to the bench where Gary sat,
but Gary was gone

Locating Gary
on foot running down the block
He ran after him

It was too late though
Gary hopped into a cab
It sped off quickly

Miguel stood sullen
His scoop slipped away again
In a yellow cab..

But he shook it off
There was always tomorrow.
To get the story...
