This mailing list is for posting discussion and fan fiction featuring Jake and Diane, feedback on the fiction, and relevant requests for assistance (such as beta readers, research, etc.) only. Please refrain from posting any or all of the following:

• spam (i.e. virus warnings, chain letters, urban legends, etc.)
• off-top chatter
• solicitations/advertisements
• tape trading

Fiction should be posted as plain text documents (not word processing attachments) that contain no "special characters" (such as smart quotes, Em dashes, etc.) with italics represented by placing the word, phrase, or section inside asterixes.

Please format your subject lines in the following manner:

"Title" 1/x Rated x

And fill in the "x" with the appropriate values. For example:

#10 "My Story" 1/1 Rated R

Please remember to include the following in the story header:

Title
Author's Name
Author's Email
MPAA-style rating

Optional information includes author's notes and any appropriate content warnings.

Please keep signature files under 5 lines, and edit out any portion of a list message which you are not directly replying to, such as headers, footers, signatures, etc.

There is no "flaming" tolerated on this list. A "flame" would be any unwarranted attack upon another poster, including verbal abuse, being disrespectful or snide regarding another poster's fiction or options in a manner which is rude, condescending, purposefully hurtful, or employs foul language unnecessarily.

Please treat fellow listmembers and their opinions with respect, and remember that you can disagree with someone—and even have a healthy debate—without insulting or attacking them personally.
