Princess Diana of Themyscira

Princess Diana of Themyscira
Eldest daughter of Queen Hippolyte, heir to the throne of the immortal Amazons living on an island hidden in the Devil's Triangle. Diana is over 2000 years old, but had no real concept of her age by the world's clock. She grew up sheltered and beloved by her mother the Queen. When a US pilot was found shot on the beach of Paradise Island, Diana nursed him back to health personally, and was chosen to accompany the pilot back to Man's World in 1942 when, against her mother's decree, she entered the Amazonian contest in disguise.

Yeoman First Class Diana Prince

Yeoman First Class Diana Prince
Upon her arrival in Man's World, Princess Diana assumed the identity of a Navy Nurse named Diana Prince. The real Diana Prince followed her fiancé Dan White to South American thanks to the money Wonder Woman gave her. As Yeoman Prince, Diana took a job at the War Office on D street as secretary to Steve Trevor, the pilot she had saved when his plane was shot down by the Nazis.

Major Steven Leonard Trevor

Steve Trevor was a war hero, and head of General Blankenship's Military Intelligence office. He is infatuated with the mysterious "angel" who saved his life after his plane went down off the coast of an uncharted island in the Bermuda Triangle. Steve was mortified to learn that his secretary Marcia was a Nazi spy, and vowed never again to have a pretty girl for a secretary. However, Steve depends on Yeoman Prince and defends her to anyone who would say a single thing against her, admiring her dedication and hard work. To Steve, Diana is irreplaceable, and not just as a secretary.

Queen Hippolyte of Themyscira

Queen Hippolyte lead her sisters to the deserted paradise over two millennia ago. Queen of the Amazon city state of Themyscira, the Amazons were tricked and betrayed by the armies of Herakles and Theseus, when Herakles stole Hippolyte's golden girdle as one of his famed Labours. A devoted mother to her two daughters, Hippolyte has a deep distrust me men and their ways, having seen first hand the kind of destruction they can wreak. She would seek to spare her daughters such pain at all costs.

Princess Drusilla of Themyscira

Drusilla was born and raised on the tropical island paradise, and like any spirited young woman, she much prefers sport to school work, and has been known to torture her tutors. An accomplished huntress, she once felled a 12 point stag with her cross-bow, and is excellent at footraces. Dru misses her elder sister Diana very much while Diana is in America, and contrives any excuse to go visit her in Man's World, enamoured as she is of ice cream and young men. Dru is a complete innocent, and as such, was taken advantage of by the Nazis who tricked her into revealing the location of Paradise Island, a lesson she will never forget.

Private Etta Candy

A Women's Army Corps Private who works as General Blankenship's secretary. She is Diana's best friend, and she, Diana, and Major Trevor spend a good deal of time together, both work-related, and socially. Etta is a romantic with little luck in love, but a great heart and generous spirit. She is continually amazed at Diana's ignorance of modern civilization, as well as her single-minded devotion to her job.

General Phillip Blankenship

General Blankenship is Steve's mentor and close confidant. He played college football with Circle H Ranch owner J.P. Hadley.

Charlie Niles

Charlie is Etta's current boyfriend. He works in the War Department records office, and was never called to fight in the War due to a heart murmur. Charlie is just mad about Etta, and thinks she's the prettiest girl in the world.
Author's Note: Charlie is wholly invented by the author.

Maggie Miller

Maggie owns and runs the Capital Café, a popular diner near the War Department offices on D street, often patronised by Diana, Etta, and Steve. Wonder Woman saved her life when she and her then fiance Hank Miller were impersonated by Nazis in order to infiltrate Hank's place of business, the Bureau of Printing and Engraving.

Hank Miller

Good friend of Steve Trevor, who frequently inspects the Bureau of Printing and Engravings because the facility does some top secret printing for the War Department. Wonder Woman saved his life when he and his then-fiancée Maggie Robbins were impersonated by Nazis in order to infiltrate Hank's place of business.

Danny Robbins

Danny was in the Army, and Maggie once had Wonder Woman autograph one of the menus from the Capitol Café to mail to him. After he lost his right leg below the knee, he came to Washington to work as counterman at the Capitol Café.
Author's Note: Danny was never named or even seen on the series, and his future is wholly invented by the author.

Harry S. Truman

The thirty-third president of the United States, Truman was remembered for his genial common touch and outspoken bluntness. He rose in politics as the result of an alliance with the notorious Pendergast machine of Kansas City. A failure in various business ventures, he was notably successful in other endeavors—as a combat artillery captain in World War I, a rising figure in the Reserve Officers Corps, an effective county administrator, and a popular and industrious U.S. senator. Beneath a usually friendly manner, he harbored a thick layer of aggressiveness that occasionally discharged itself in angry outbursts.

Achieving the vice presidency in 1944 because of his acceptability to all wings of the Democratic party, he became president upon the death of Franklin D. Roosevelt, April 12, 1945.
